ACCG, GEORGIA’S COUNTY ASSOCIATION FOR 100 YEARS AND COUNTING

You are why ACCG is here! We’re here to help counties provide the best leadership, the most efficient services and most valuable programs to meet your health and safety needs. The dedicated professionals on our staff all have answered the same call to public service as your county leaders. We provide them with technical assistance, expert financial management and beneficial corporate partnerships. We provide comprehensive training to county officials and represent their interests (and yours) in the state and federal policy-making process.

HISTORY OF ACCG

ACCG formed in 1914 to help Georgia counties qualify for federal road funds. We’ve evolved with counties to meet expanding needs, today offering insurance and financial services, unprecedented purchasing efficiencies, advantageous corporate partnerships and vital ongoing training, certification and legislative expertise. But our goal has never changed: we give counties the resources they need to strengthen our communities and make them the kind of places we want to live, work and play.
